This position is required to perform moderate to complex general office work involving clerical, typing, and receptionist duties in relation to the marketing department. The Marketing Department is looking for a self-starter who is capable of working independently toward the aims and goals of the department and Cooperative. Applicants who possess strong oral and written skills with the ability to plan and coordinate work priorities, as well as, strong people skills in relating to consumers, public, employees, and media are preferred. Applicants must have the ability to aggregate resources to effectively communicate the programs, ideas and objectives of the Cooperative. Applicants must also be able to read and write Spanish. Working conditions including working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some overtime may be required occasionally.

Education: Associates degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent experience.

This position is responsible for maintaining system studies including sectionalizing, voltage, load flow and planning studies as well as maintaining accurate records necessary to facilitate the system studies. The application of electrical engineering theory and practice is required in the performance of the duties of this position. Working conditions include irregular hours including nights and weekends. Holidays, overtime, and serving on-call rotation may be required.

Work Experience: A minimum of one year experience with electrical system studies, distribution protection and control equipment testing, programming, and troubleshooting is preferred. Experience as an electrical engineering technician in an electric utility is preferred.
