This service is available only on an annual basis. The minimum billing demand will be determined by the Cooperative based on consideration of the consumer's connected load and operating conditions.

B. Type of Service.

Where service of the type desired by Customer is not already available at the point of delivery, additional charges under the Cooperative's line extension policy and special contract arrangements may be required prior to service being furnished.

C. Monthly Rate.

Customer shall be obligated to pay the following charges:

  1. Customer Charge: $225.00 per meter
This charge is for the availability of electric service and is payable each monthly billing period; and
  2. Demand Charge: $3.85 per kW
This charge for the rate at which energy is used is applied to the maximum kilowatt demand for any period of fifteen consecutive minutes during the billing period as adjusted for power factor; and
  3. Energy Charge

This charge for the delivery of electric energy is applied to energy usage during the billing period as follows:

Next 200 kWh per billing kW @ $0.071380 per kWh
Over 400 kWh per billing kW @ $0.063454 per kWh

This charge for the delivery of energy shall be applied to all kWh usage during each billing period.

D. Monthly Minimum Charge.

For each calendar year in which Customer is connected for any portion of the year, Customer shall be obligated to pay the following whether or not any energy is actually used:

  1. The minimum monthly charge as specified in the contract for service; and
  2. The basic demand charge, or
  3. A charge of $1.00 per kVA of installed transformer capacity for the sole use of the Customer, or
  4. A charge of $1.66 per horsepower on the sum of the motor(s), or other inductive-type electric device(s) connected, plus
  5. Power Cost Recovery Factor Charges.

The minimum charge shall be payable annually on such date as may be designated by the Cooperative or at the Cooperative's option shall be payable in installments on the dates designated by the Cooperative.

E. Minimum Annual Charge for Seasonal Service.

Customers requiring service only during seasons not exceeding nine (9) months per year must guarantee by contract a minimum monthly annual payment of twelve (12) times the minimum monthly charge, determined in accordance with the foregoing section.

F. Customer Owned and Maintained Facilities Discount

If Consumer owns, operates and maintains all the facilities for receiving the service at the supplied voltage, the monthly rate shall be reduced as follows:

  1. Demand Charge shall be reduced by 3% and
  2. Energy Charge shall be reduced by 3%.

The Cooperative may meter at secondary voltage and estimate transformation loss.

G. Billing Adjustments.

This rate is subject to all billing adjustments.

H. Agreement.

If a line extension is required in order to provide service to a consumer, an agreement for electric service with a fixed term may be required by the Cooperative. This rate schedule may be changed by order or consent of regulatory authorities having jurisdiction, or if none, by the Cooperative's board of directors; service hereunder is subject to the Cooperative's tariff for electric service.
