Youth Tour Program

MVEC is accepting applications from high school sophomores and juniors, in the Co-op's service area, to win an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., this summer.

Magic Valley Electric Cooperative, Texas Electric Cooperative, and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association will co-sponsor a tour of Washington, D.C., its monuments, the Capitol, Smithsonian Institute, and other historical and political sites. This year's delegates from our local area will join over 120 delegates from Texas. Together, they will visit important landmarks as they travel to our nation's capitol, where they will join over 1,200 delegates from across the nation. This will provide an avenue for each representative to learn and become familiar with our government's operation and history.
