L-R: Victoria Espensen - Struges - McAllen, Alexis Montsseratt-Salinas - Mission
Victoria Espensen - Struges from McAllen and Alexis Montsseratt-Salinas from Mission were selected to represent Magic Valley Electric Coop at the 22nd Government-in-Action Tour in Washington D.C. Victoria and Alexis flew to Washington D.C. where they joined approximately 120 other fellow participants. Students on the tour learned about electric cooperatives, American history and U.S. government. They attended educational seminars and visited with their representatives in the House and the Senate. They also visited historical sights in and around Washington such as the U.S. Capitol, monuments, the Smithsonian, Arlington Cemetery, and countless other places.
