Youth Tour 2007

L-R:, Isaac Zavala - Donna High School, and Kaytlyn Ann Krafka - Rio Hondo High School

Kaytlyn Ann Krafka from Rio Hondo and Isaac Zavala from Donna were selected to represent Magic Valley Electric Coop at the 24th Government-in-Action Tour in Washington D.C. Kaytlyn and Isaac traveled to Washington D.C. where they joined approximately 122 other fellow participants. Students on the tour learned about electric cooperatives, American history and U.S. government. They will attend educational seminars and visit with their representatives in the House and the Senate. They also visited historical sights in and around Washington such as the U.S. Capitol, monuments, the Smithsonian, Arlington Cemetery, and countless other places.
